Today we drove two hours to the Henan Museum. For the 2 hour drive there, I sat next to one of the Chinese student guides and we talked and he gave me a black bracelet. His name is "Cheng Chang" which in Chinese means "Great Wall."
The Henan Museum was SOO boring! It was pot after pot after pot after pot, and clay figure after clay figure after clay figure of Chinese art. The pieces were creative and crafty and all, but I'm not really a museum person not to mention, it was hot, I was tired, I was still dying/sore from the day before, and did I mention it was HOT!!!
After we finally left the mueseum, we went to Henan NO.9 Senior High School. There, we had lunch, learned a little about the school, and then broke up into groups based on the activites that we picked. We picked Street Dancing (yes, crazy since we were still all sore from the day before) and it was so HOT IN THERE!!! We all just sat there, watched them dance then started acting all shy cuz they wanted to see us dance lol. Then, we started playing a game.
Once we left that school, they took us shopping for the last time. Great Wall said that he'd help me. So, when we got to the the mall, he took me, Ayesha, Dylan, Reina, & Smera around the mall. He even blew off his friends to be with us, cause they asked him to walk with them, but he said no then pointed at me saying some stuff and they all sorta laughed/chuckled...maybe he had specific orders from my "Gege" to keep and eye out...idk.
After this, we made our 2hr drive back to the the Luming Hotel where we stay. The rest of the night is suppose to be committed to us packing since we have to leave here tomorrow... :'(

Why I'm sore and can barely walk....
Yesterday, Monday July 26th, they we were on the bus and they told us we were headed to this Martial Arts school to "observe" the way they learn....but oh, WE DID MUCH MORE THAN JUST OBSERVE!!! We got there, and each group had a class (outside) waiting for them. When we got to our class, they let us watch them warm up and do some kungfu moves. Then, they told us to go pick a boy to be our shifu(kungfu teacher. Then, we had a one-on-one section with our Shifu. & OH MY GOSH!!! It was HOT!!!, my teacher spoke NO ENGLISH (which wasn't too bad since I speak some), bending like that hurt like CRAP & did I mention it was HOT!!!!! And we just kept going through it over and over...while we were doing this, the guy who calls me his Xiao Mei Mei (Little Sister) came over with his friend (who we call The Eagle) and sat on the wall and watched. He was acting all protective lol, cause when the guy touched my hand or something to move it to where it was suppose to be for the move, he'd look at him real hard. Then, he started yelling at the guy. I could make out all that he was saying but I did hear that he was saying, "Your not teaching well...your suppose to be teaching....your making it too difficult, etc." & his friend (The Eagle) threw in his two cents too, which I couldn't quite make out.
After that, he changed the routine that he was teaching me & it was MUCH EASIER and I was doing much better.
Now, why did I title this, "Why I'm sore and can barely walk...?" Because MAAAANNNN!! THOSE MOVES!!! To give you a sort of visual, try going into a low squating position then keep your right leg bent and extend the left leg out til it's straight. Then, take your left arm, with the palm extended sweep it like your brushing something off your leg, almost to your foot. & to sort of show u how low I went down, I could brush the ground with my hand....I can practically do a split now...if I just had one more week of Kungfu...I'd be there

Random Things that Happened
*Here everyon who is not white with brown hair or Asian is Famous (especially if ur black or Indian) So, we'll be walking around somewhere and random ppl will come up to you and ask to take a picture with you. (We felt FAMOUS! :)) Because one time, we(Dylan-white with brown hair, Smera-Indian, Reina-Japanese, Ayesha-black with extension in braids,& me-black) were trying to take a group picture and ppl just started gathering around taking our picture and jumping into the picture or sticking their kids in the picture.
*In Beijing, we're were walking around outside of the Birds Nest and this couple came up to Ayesha and handed her their baby girl to take a picture with and the baby had on a dress but no diaper or underwear or anything.
*After our Kungfu Lesson one day, we played this game where if the bottle landed on you, you'd have to introduce urself in Chinese then do a talent. So, when it landed on me, my talent was singing the Chinese Song "Jixiang Sanbao." Later that afternoon during our second Chinese class, our Shifu (Kungfu Master) named Houzi, who we call Monkey, came up to me and said that some people (the Henan ppl) wanted to record me singing that song and they wanted me to say a few things in Chinese. One of the boys standing around watched this whole thing and since then, he has called me "Xiao Mei Mei" which means, "Little Sister."

Monday July 26th in China
Ok, so...I've been getting harrassed about not putting anything up on here so, I decided I'd post something for today. :)
Ok, so here in China it's about 1:36pm. This morning we went to the Shaolin Temple for our Kungfu class and our Chinse class. We've been taking these classes for about 3-4days and have learned 2 different routines (one with fans and one without). However today, instead of doing our Chinese class (which is usually after Kungfu) we signed fans and exchanged email address' (with other kids on the trip, chaperones, & the Chinese People helping us-我们的私服)and we had to have an individual test on how well we'd learned our moves. I got like a 8.6 (on a scale from 0-10) so, I guess that's not bad especially since I thought I'd get like a 5.2 lol.
At 2:30, we have to meet back at the bus and we're going to the school where the people who teach us Kongfu stay and we're gonna watch some of their students in their classes. After that, we're going shopping and then, after dinner, we're going back to the school to learn a Chinese song.
